Lindsey is a big defensive end who has been durable for Pittsburgh. He won't blow you away with his play, and is just as adequate rushing the passer as he is defending the run. Lindsey has a good frame to compete in a rotation, and could stand to add a little more weight to be more of a stalwart on the edge. He is a low-ceiling prospect who could be drafted late.

Lindsey is a good run defender and knows how to play within a scheme to get in the backfield early and disrupt a play. He is polished in his technique and has no issues there, and he is strong against weaker competition to get off blocks and make a play. He has slow feet, but counters that with high awareness off the snap. An overall sound, low-risk prospect who wouldn't look out of place if forced to play early.

Lindsey is a non-electric player; he can make plays, but they come inconsistently and he isn't going to out-run or overpower any NFL lineman. He is somewhat slow to react to the pass at times and needs to get off the ball quicker to even give himself a chance as an NFL pass rusher.
