Overview

Nortman has been a steady, reliable punter for Wisconsin, employing a strong leg and consistency. He can routinely boot it more than 45 yards and has potential to be drafted in the late rounds by a team with a need at the position.

Analysis

Strengths

Nortman has an athletic, lively leg and can really drive the ball. He is capable of many different kicks, and is accurate in placing the ball within the 20-yard line. He is very capable of punting on Sundays.

Weaknesses

Nortman has a tendency to let the ball get away from him every now and then and shank one off to his left, but this hasn't been a consistent problem and he was reliable in his senior year.
