Overview

Igwenagu is an intriguing prospect who never really found a consistent position at UMass, but contributed as a tight end and could play the role of a hybrid H-back type player in the NFL. He can run well for his size and is crafty in getting open, catching the ball, and moving up the field. He isn't a deep threat and gets his production in close, mostly on short first downs. He could be a late-round flier for a team looking to use him on short passing downs.

Analysis

Strengths

Igwenagu is a powerful mover who is tough to bring down once he has the ball. He relies on his strength in routes to separate at the last moment and get open. He has a little bit of shake to him once he has the ball, and can overpower linebackers who come in to tackle him.

Weaknesses

Igwenagu is a slow mover who has to rely on his strength when running routes against linebackers. There could be concern that he will have trouble being productive against more athletic NFL linebackers with similar strength and the ability to stay with him and not get overpowered.
